Gull Lake Activities

There are many things that people love about Gull Lake, the beautiful

Boating: Enjoy all manner of watersports on beautiful Gull Lake! Rent our tritoon boat for tooling around the lake, taking a swim, and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. We also rent boat lifts for guests who bring or rent their own vessel.

Tritoon Rental
Get out on the water! If you’re thinking of renting a boat to use during your vacation, look no farther. We have a spacious tritoon vessel onsite exclusively for the use of our guests. What’s a tritoon? It’s a pontoon boat with three tubes (rather than two) in the hull for added performance and stability. What better way to enjoy and explore beautiful Gull Lake than cruising on the water with the entire family? Our 30-foot Premier Gemini 220 is powered by a Yamaha F150 and can accommodate up to 14 passengers. With all the amenities you’ll need for a day on the lake, this like-new tritoon includes fishing chairs, rod holders, and live well; GPS/sonar; dining table; stereo and speakers; 12-volt sink, and much more.

Boat Lift Rental
Protect your boat or boat rental with one of our boat lift rentals. It’s a quick, easy and affordable way to get your boat out of the water when you’re not tooling around on Gull Lake. Using our lift at the boat dock is simple and a good way to ensure that your vessel isn’t damaged by the sometimes gusty winds and choppy waters.

Fishing: Gull Lake provides amazing opportunities for fishing in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Bait your lines for walleye, northern pike, trophy-sized bass, crappie, panfish, and sunfish. Typically, the best fishing is in May, June, September, and October. We have a tritoon that can be rented by our guests, as well as several boat lift rentals for those with their own vessel.

Beaches: The clean sandy beaches of Gull Lake are just steps from our properties. Play on the shore, take a long walk by the water and watch the sunset over the water while making memories in this peaceful setting.

Golf: With dozens of distinctive golf courses, the Brainerd area is renowned for its concentration of top-rated courses. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Arnold Palmer, Joel Goldstrand, and Dye Designs, several area courses have been nationally recognized by Golf Digest, Golfweek, and Golf Magazine.

Hiking and Biking: Many acres of natural woodland surround Gull Lake and our properties are close to many walking and biking trails. East Gull Lake has expanded its bike trails in recent years, and the scenic Paul Bunyan State Trail starts nearby and runs for 106.7 miles into north-central Minnesota.

Exploring: Consider renting an all-terrain vehicle, visiting area horseback riding stables, or taking a spin down one of the area ziplines as an alternate way to take in the sights.

Winter Sports: Wintertime in Minnesota is breathtaking! Stay in one of our cabins as your home base for exploring the snow-covered area. Hit the slopes of Mount Ski Gull for snow skiing and snowboarding, enjoy cross country skiing, or rent a snowmobile to traverse one of the many maintained trails in the area.
